Tips for Using Your Planner
• At the beginning of each week, identify tasks for your to-do list. Check them off as you accomplish them throughout the week.
• Some ladies like to make a daily list either early in the morning or the night before, of all the things that need to be achieved each day. Checking them off as you go along gives a great feeling of accomplishment throughout the day. (You can always add a sticky pad page if you run out of room on your daily calendar square.)
• Create a weekly menu and shopping list, based on the activities and appointments for the week, or from a master monthly menu plan (see Quick Reference section in back).
• Jot down your shopping list, based on your weekly menu. You can choose to cut out the shopping list to bring along to the store, or to save it for future reference.
• Fold the corner of the page with each week that passes so you're tabbed up to this week.
• Throughout the year, as you get school calendars, wedding invitations, and other notices, record the dates and times right away, both in the month at a glance and in the weekly slots.
• Use the lists at the end of the book for recurring shopping lists, borrowed items, Doctors' info, birthdays, phone numbers and addresses. They will provide you with quick and easy access to this information.
• Make yourself a weekly schedule or routine for all those things you do daily or weekly, record it on the weekly routine page in the Quick Reference section in the back.
• Keep some paper clips attached to the back cover so you can always attach the important papers that you need. Keep some sticky tabs handy in different colors to tab up to your current page or your favorite pages in the quick reference section.
• Tie a pen or pencil to the spiral binding.
